Insulating today for a better tomorrow!
Increasing energy prices, increased consciousness in the environment and higher
building costs are just a few reasons that builders and home owners are becoming
increasingly interested in urethane spray foam insulation. Investing in spray foam
insulation is an important choice in building a sustainable home or building.

Your advantages to choosing urethane spray foam insulation: Lower energy
costs/consumption, seamless air barrier, seamless moisture barrier (just 1 inch offers
an effective moisture retarder), reduced noise transmission, improved comfort and
added resale value to your home.

The spray foam technology begins in a liquid form and when pressure sprayed at the
proper temperature, allows it to expand, filling and sealing crevices, cracks and
voids. It's able to insulate areas that fiberglass can't. It's able to retard mold growth
and seals your home helping eliminate environmental pollutants from getting into
your home, which can cause havoc on those with allergies.

Closed cell spray foam insulation offers an R-value of about 6.5 to 7 per inch (and
some offering a 6.9 per inch aged R-value!), verses traditional materials such as
fiberglass and cellulose, which can only offer a 3-3.5 per inch! Spray foam will not
settle or shrink like other types of insulation, ensuring the efficiency for the life of
your home!

Closed cell spray foam can be used (and is recommended for optimal efficiency) in
crawl spaces, foundations and floor joices in addition to walls and ceilings. Open cell
foam insulation is ideal for insulating and sound proofing interior areas and walls, as
the R-value is about 3.5 per inch.
